World Emoji Day, celebrated on July 17, is an opportunity to celebrate those symbols that pervade digital and social media conversations. Created with the aim of making a person’s mood understandable and to express the tone of voice in a written conversation, emojis owe their name to the Japanese language. The “e” stands for “image,” while “moji” means “character.”
In the 1970s and 1980s, the predecessors of emojis, emoticons, formed by parentheses and a colon, became widespread.
In this article, we try to imagine what Go Box would look like if it were an emoji.
World Emoji Day: The Smiley Face
If GoBox were an emoji, it would definitely be at least three types of smiley faces: the laughing face with smiling eyes and a wide open mouth, the laughing face with heart-shaped eyes, and the smiling face with star-shaped ones.
The first because it offers personalized solutions that make the recipient happy. The second because it is able to enhance the goods to be delivered, and the third because it is responsible for improving the overall experience.
Go Box: a sustainable solution
Continuing to imagine Go Box as an emoji, it could be defined with three different symbols related to nature: the globe, the feather and the spark.
The globe because it is a solution that cares about the present and future of the planet. The package can make two trips (there and back), with the advantage of reducing waste and making it easier to return the goods.
The feather because Go Box is a shipping box that has a tear tape on the box, which is part of a system with the same name. This allows for precise and rapid opening of the box, for which you do not need to use scissors or knives.
The spark is instead linked to the fact that Go Box is only the arrival point of an entire wood-paper supply chain that operates in an ethical and responsible manner.
Go Box: unboxing has never been so special
Still thinking of Go Box as an emoji, we could compare it to a magic wand by virtue of the unboxing experience it guarantees.
It is not just a mere phase of the sales process. Unboxing is a moment in which a strong emotional bond is created between the consumer and the product and which, increasingly, is also shared on social media.
