70 years of Cartotecnica Moreschini: innovation, family, future

This year, Cartotecnica Moreschini celebrated an extraordinary milestone: 70 years of activity. And he did it with an unforgettable event, at the evocative setting of Villa Capriata, together with all the collaborators who, over the years, have contributed to the success of the company.

An evening of authentic sharing, where the great Moreschini family could reflect on the past, celebrate the present and dream together about the future. A special occasion to remember that behind every achievement there are people, passion and daily commitment.

Cartotecnica Moreschini: the roots of a vision

In 1954, in an Italy that was rising from the ashes of the post-war period, a man with an idea and great determination, Giacomo Moreschini, decided to give life to his company.

At a time when the country was dreaming of rebirth and looked to the future with hope, Giacomo planted the seeds of what would become an excellence in the field of cartotechnics. His intuition to transform the emerging needs of new Italian families – such as the need for smaller packages for pasta – was the spark that shaped Cartotecnica Moreschini.

Between machines and cardboard, Roberto, the son of Giacomo, grew up watching his father with admiration. And so, when in 1982 Giacomo decided to pass the helm to him and his wife Mara, the flame of innovation did not fade, but became even more luminous. Year after year, thanks to dedication, passion and that indissoluble link between family and work, the company has continued its evolution.

The evolution of an idea

Chiara Moreschini’s entry into the company in 2000 marked a new chapter for the company. With his fresh and innovative vision, he has led Cartotecnica Moreschini to explore new markets and promising possibilities. Alessio, Chiara’s husband, also joined the team, bringing new ideas and helping to renew the company, without ever forgetting the values on which it was based.

During this period, the company did not just follow the changes in the market: it anticipated them. The growing focus on sustainability has led the company to focus on recycling, launching cutting-edge projects to replace plastic with paper in the food sector. In 2017, the company became a leader in sustainable packaging of meat, fish and cheese, paving the way for new challenges and goals.

But the real heart of Cartotecnica Moreschini has always been people. Starting in 2010, the company decided to invest in its human capital, recognizing that true value is built through the growth of people. Training, trust and respect have become the pillars on which all choices are based, to build a united team with a vision for the future.

The present and future of a dream

Today, in 2024, Cartotecnica Moreschini celebrates its 70 years of activity, a milestone that not only represents the success of a company, but also the journey of a family that has been able to grow and innovate constantly.

The company, now in the hands of Roberto, Mara, Chiara, Alessio and the new generation that grows among the same machines and the same passion, looks to the future with the same visionary spirit with which it was born.

A future that is not only built with technology, but above all with people. This is the conviction that continues to drive the company: it is human capital that creates economic capital, and continuing training is the engine that allows us to go further.

Celebrating its 70th anniversary, Cartotecnica Moreschini is looking to the future with the same enthusiasm of 1954, strong in its history and confidence in the new generations. A story made of paper, cardboard and especially people.
