Cartotecnica Moreschini promotes training by opening its doors to school groups

Cartotecnica Moreschini is convinced that training is the best possible investment for a company. For this reason, we have always promoted the growth of our employees and looked with great interest to the world of education.

The company’s attention to young students took shape in 2012, thanks to the collaboration with the Aldini Valeriani Institute in Bologna. Collaboration that, in November 2018, allowed the birth of the new Paper Lab. An important milestone for Roberto Moreschini, owner of the paper company, who has seen come true his dream of guaranteeing young people access to a training that can facilitate their entry into the world of work.

Since 2015, Cartotecnica Moreschini also regularly hosts the third classes of the local secondary schools. These orientation visits to the production world are organized by Confindustria Emilia, an association to which our company has been a member since 2000.

The idea was born from the desire to pass on to new generations all the enthusiasm and commitment we put into what we do. By showing our passion for a well done job, we hope to awaken in them the interest and the desire to engage and study, being certain that there are companies in the area that allow talents to express themselves. And it is Roberto Moreschini himself who answers all the questions of the young students, in an au pair exchange that makes the kids feel more involved.

Training to sustainability

With these visits, the kids of the third secondary classes not only come get in touch with the world of paper, but they are also made aware of recycling. By visiting a company that processes 100% recyclable material, young students learn the importance of sustainability. We show them what happens to paper and cardboard collected in a different way by the citizens: touching our creations with their hands, the meaning of “circular economy” is immediately clear to them.

The kids visit each department of the plant, witnessing each stage of processing and see in practice how a box is made, from the idea to the finished product. To guide them on this journey, our operators explain what their work consists of. What intrigues the kids the most is the use of pre-press software, but it is when they are faced with machinery in production that they ask us endless questions.

Learning is growing

Cartotecnica Moreschini is proud to open its doors to young people and allow them to understand what happens in the world of work. The goal is to stimulate in them the idea that a company is a constantly evolving environment, in which being prepared is essential to be able to extricate themselves in a rapidly changing market. Continuous training is therefore the natural continuation of studies, it is the continuous research that allows us to become better and better at our work, without ever resting on the knowledge already acquired.

Our company will continue to open its doors to young people, because we believe that their orientation towards technical culture is a great growth opportunity for them and for the future of local companies.
